After the restyling of the "normal" version, the new Audi SQ2 was also upgraded. Dutiful update, which comes after 4 years of honorable service.
The SQ2 stands out from other variants for the specific bumpers, rear spoiler, four exhaust terminals and black crystal frames. As standard there is also a20 mm low trim that gives greater sportsmanship, progressive power steering and 18" alloy wheels with 235/45 tires. The 19" is an optional. The braking system adopts 340 mm front discs. The new design of the front has made the cutting of the mask and optical units even more incisive: the latter are also available, for the first time, in the Matrix LED (otional) version.
Another advanced aspect of the new Audi SQ2 2021 is the infotainment system. Operated by an 8.3" display,it includes MMI plus navigation with touch MMI and features more Audi connect services. For three years you will have audi connect navigation&infotainment services completely free of charge. Via myAudi app, on the other hand, access to remote&control services to verify the status of the vehicle. There is also an emergency call, the possibility to book an intervention at the Audi network,up to a personal assistant.
Like the previous edition, the new Audi SQ2 features the 2.0 TFSI turbo petrol engine that develops ben300 hp and 400 Nm of maximum torque. In combination there is only the 7-speed S tronic dual clutch robotic gearbox and a 4×4 traction system. The crossover is also equipped with an electrohydraulic clutch, a system that in case the front wheels lose grip, sends 100% of the torque to the rear ones. In addition, to improve driving skills, the SQ2 has progressive steering: demultiplication is greater at low speeds, but it becomes more direct by increasing the gait.
It will be available in dealerships as early as spring next year. The official price of the new Audi SQ2 is not known, however it is estimated to be between 50,000 and 53,000 €. With some options it is not excluded it can even approach 60,000 €.
